Artificial Intelligence & Blockchain, technologies for developing digital resources to resolve major global challenges.
In order to build elaborate architectures for our global and digital future, it is necessary to reimagine, rethink and learn from the design flaws that are inherent to most systems that were conceptualized and developed during and after World War II, and in particular those of a more recent future.
Burnshire Academy offers aspirants the opportunity to explore AI/Blockchain technologies to develop meaningful intelligence programs and services that can be effective in providing research and learning to resolve complex global challenges. Aspirants consult and collaborate on a range of existing and emerging technologies determined useful in creating media-rich content to augment sustainable development criteria.
Resources
Technology and analysis tools that's currently available to help plan design criteria to create those sustainable pathways to ensure humanity's milestone progression into the distant future.
Artificial Intelligence
Exploring academic and sustainable solutions with open innovation in mind.
Maslow Hierarchy of Needs
Motivational theory in psychology comprising a five-tier model of human needs.
systems theory
Study of society as a complex arrangement of elements, individuals and their beliefs, as they relate to a whole.
design thinking
Understand human needs behind the service and develop a better experience.
Operations Research
Application of advanced analytical methods to help make better decisions.
Data science research
Explore multiple causal inference as most real-world observations are due to multiple factors that interact with each other
Systems Analysis
Studying a system or its parts in order to identify if objectives are being met.
Predictive analytics
Statistical techniques that analyze current and historical facts to predict future unknowns.
Blockchain
A blockchain is a distributed database or ledger that is shared among the nodes of a computer network.
Technological Innovation
By providing access to large volumes of data from within and outside of the organization, blockchain helps AI scale to provide more actionable insights, manage data usage and model sharing, and create a trustworthy and transparent data economy.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is intelligence showed by machines (machine intelligence), in contrast to the natural intelligence displayed by humans, it’s an area of computer science that emphasizes creating intelligent machines that work and react like humans. Business leaders are keen to investigate and test the transformational potential of new technologies to speed up business performance and increase profitability and workforce efficiency.
There are those who believe that AI is a tool that humanity is wielding with increasing recklessness. “We say it’s for our common good with machine learning hype equal to business profits. But what happens when we don’t have the code of ethics, laws, government accountability, corporate transparency, and the capability of monitoring the space to achieve AI regulation? Artificial intelligence regulation isn’t just complex terrain, its uncharted territory for an age that is passing the baton from human leadership to machine learning emergence, automation, robotic manufacturing and deep learning reliance.”
“To navigate a world of increasing artificial intelligence and machine intelligence intermediaries requires a better system. A system that ensures we harness the opportunities that AI is creating — across all and various areas including transportation, safety, medicine, labor, criminal justice and national security, all the while vigorously confronting ethical challenges including the potential for social bias, the need for transparency, and missteps that could stall AI innovation while exacerbating social problems and speeding up social and economic inequality. Artificial intelligence could be dangerous for capitalism and for democracy itself.”
Overall, what do these challenges potent for the future of global human development? These are ‘uncharted waters’. Our position is that more than any time in human history, as we know it, it challenges us to approach humanity’s wellbeing through its commonalities of a moral and spiritual nature. If not, then it’s possible that unbridled material pursuits will see a mad rush into oblivion. But who knows? Perhaps a safety net is forthcoming.
