What it means to be human
Adjusting to the pressures of human development as the world transitions to a new reality
Approach
Our approach to human development in a global context provides for flexibility in basic yet practical criteria. It questions long-held assumptions about what it means to be human, acknowledging ways in which ideas find expression and then adjusted based on new knowledge, experience, and circumstance. This benefits both the individual and society, considered progressive steps toward advancing civilization.
