Religious Unity
Religious unity is the avowed purpose and action of the responsible heads of States who, within their recognized and legitimate rights, must proclaim and pursue a policy of uncompromising unity to those established religions, to labor to bring about a state of affairs that directs this central principle to animate religious unity.
This effort aims to avoid the unfortunate consequences of internal civil strife and external war, while ensuring far-reaching changes in the structure of society. These changes guarantee the right of personal initiative in matters of worship, non-political activities associated with religion, and unrestricted freedom in the exercise of the public good.
A religious unity that provides the freedom of worship for an individual or community will enhance the public good, in public or private, through spiritual principles, practice, worship, and observance. Religious unity promotes spiritual health, gives the strength to overcome obstacles that arise, without which, real community growth becomes difficult to achieve.
Lack of education and training perpetuates ignorance, responsible for creating conflict and religious divisions among individuals and communities. It becomes crucial to provide inclusive education, training, and instruction to society members on a national and global scale. In this way, we remedy the lack of mutual misunderstanding and distrust to further the advance of society. Government has a universal duty in this process, requiring their representatives to institute necessary changes to ensure that this activity is complete.
