Agreement of Science and Religion
Science and Religion. We postulate that religion must conform to science or otherwise it becomes mired in superstition.
Science
Science is a strict, systematic discipline that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable hypotheses and predictions about the world. Modern science is typically divided into three major branches: the natural sciences (e.g., physics, chemistry, and biology), which study the physical world; the social sciences (e.g., economics, psychology, and sociology), which study individuals and societies; and the formal sciences (e.g., logic, mathematics, and theoretical computer science), which study formal systems governed by axioms and rules. Applied sciences are disciplines that use scientific knowledge for practical purposes, such as in engineering and medicine.

Formal Science
Because there is disagreement whether the formal sciences are scientific disciplines as they do not rely on empirical evidence, they are not being suggested in this discourse.
Religion
Religious belief was and remains a mainstay for the vast majority of humanity over countless millennia as a source of inspiration and spiritual receptivity. Without understanding this essence, unfortunately, Karl Marx branded religion as “the opium of the masses” [1].
academics
The study of religion comprises a wide variety of academic disciplines, including theology, philosophy of religion, comparative religion, and social scientific studies. Theories of religion offer various explanations for its origins and workings, including the ontological foundations of religious being and belief.
Verity
Being endowed with mind and reason to discover truth, humankind must perceive the verity of existence to discover truth; a true principle or belief, one of fundamental importance: eternal verities, irrefutable, objective verity. Therefore, scientific knowledge and religious belief must be conformable to the analysis of this basic human faculty.
postulation
We understand that religions have sacred histories, narratives, and mythologies preserved in oral traditions, sacred texts, symbols, and holy places. They attempt to explain the origin of life, the universe, and other phenomena. However, we postulate that religion must conform to science and reason, otherwise it becomes mired in superstition.

[1] Marx’s statement “religion is the opium of the masses” suggests that religion is a human invention that serves as a tool for social control, keeping the oppressed classes placated and preventing them from rebelling against their exploitative circumstances. Marx believed that religion provided a false sense of comfort and community, distracting people from the economic inequalities and class struggles in their societies by focusing their attention on spiritual matters and the promise of an afterlife.
